 After the success of nightly visits inaugurated last year, from Saturday, August 21 The Special Superintendence for Cultural Heritage of Rome happening every Saturday until Oct. 2, a night tour of the Flavian Amphitheatre. The atmosphere will be particularly special thanks to the lighting of underground tunnels and arches inside. The course, organized in small groups led by an archaeologist, includes a visit to the permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the Colosseum. We discuss the architecture and the operation of the technical apparatus of the many activities and pastimes which viewers were engaged during breaks. The tour continues with shows Gladiatores, which shows the "profession" means the gladiator weapons and accessories made by skilled craftsmen on the basis of the descriptions of ancient writers and representations on frescoes, reliefs, mosaics, graffiti survived.

 For 2010 the legendary Guns N 'Roses toured with two concert dates in Italy: Guns N' Roses will be performing live in Rome and Milan in September 2010. The "legendary" Axl Rose and his Guns N 'Roses toured after' release of their new album of previously unreleased songs: the CD Chinese Democracy.

 In September, the Colosseum in Rome live a month full of fire: a real fire, but artistic, involving one of the most famous monuments in the world. In fact, for the occasion, the video installation "Coliseum on Fire", whose authors are the Argentinian Danish Thyra Hilden, Pio Diaz, give life through play of projections and lights in a real "fire" that surround the Coliseum . Three evening performances will be scheduled for days 17,18 and 19 September which will continue throughout the night.. |
