Una rilettura del classico shakespeariano che guarda, grazie a registi e interpreti, al mondo del cinema. Scamarcio, bello del grande schermo per eccellenza, è Romeo; la bella Deniz Ozdogan, già con Albertazzi e altri mostri sacri del nostro palcoscenico, è Giulietta, e le file al botteghino sono assicurate. Anche se, per chi ama il teatro tout court, l'appeal maggiore sarà nella regia di un navigato e sensibile teatrante totale come Binasco e dalla penna caustica di uno straordinario 'pittore' di provincialismi e marginalità come Paravidino.
È quasi tutto troppo con Shakespeare. E Romeo e Giulietta ha persino un troppo in più.

 

È un’opera così famosa che è impossibile sfuggire al già visto. In più mi accorgo che del testo mi piacciono soprattutto cose marginali: i personaggi secondari, il tono da commedia, il provincialismo italiano. (...)

Until February 13, 2011, is open to the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Rome and Italy CoBrA, an exhibition curated by Denis Laoureux Amaturo and Matilda, in collaboration with the Embassy of Belgium el'Academia Belgica.
